The Master in Insurance and RIsk Management aims at forming experts in risk management, asset allocation and actuarial sciences with a strong quantitative background, in view of the challenges posed by Solvency II. The Master is truly international: courses are taught in English by distinguished academic scholars and professionals from leading national and international institutions.
Courses are held at the Collegio Carlo Alberto. Students have access to the Collegio and University of Torino facilities, as well as to seminars, lectures and other scientific activities and can interact with their faculty and scholars.
Graduates obtain a 2nd level Master degree from the University of Torino as well as a diploma delivered by the Collegio Carlo Alberto.
CAREERS AND PLACEMENT. Graduates of the program are perfect candidates for high-profile careers at the interplay between insurance and finance, with particular emphasis on regulatory compliance. They can act as risk managers, asset managers, actuaries, underwriters, business specialists and quantitative analysts in insurance companies, consultancy firms and regulatory bodies.
In order to facilitate the contact between the students and perspective employers the Collegio organizes career days, meetings with former Alumni and on-campus interviews.
